Michael Ellis's Collection

This is an exceptional collection, which include some great vintage pieces, as well as some newer (but not too new!) models.  One of the best collections on the site.

First up, the black guitars.  On the far left, a 1977 DC150 with maple fingerboard and chrome-covered APH-6 pickups.  Second from left, an early to mid 80's DC150 with ebony fingerboard and dot inlays.  Second from the right is a mid-80's SH225 with block inlays and black M22 pickups.  On the near right, an early 80's DC200.

Here are a some very cool and rare vintage models.  First is a mid-70's CM95, in clear gloss on maple with block inlays and a 22-fret Höfner neck.  Next to it is a 1976 SS66, which had a 25.5" scale length, rosewood fingerboard, and dual APH-6 humbuckers.  The white V220 is a 1986 model, with chrome hardware and a Kahler tremolo.  Last is a mid-80's DC150, with koa body and neck and Kahler tremolo.

These are all 1990s models.  From left to right: a DC127 in koa with gold hardware and Wilkinson tremolo; a DC135 in greenburst with chrome hardware and Wilkinson tremolo; an SC90 in tobacco sunburst on mahogany; and an H2 in clear gloss on quilt.

These are both 1992 DC models.  On the near right is a DC400, in sapphire blue on flamed maple with abalone block inlays, black chrome hardware, and a Floyd Rose tremolo.  On the far right is a DC200 in sapphire blue, with MOP block inlays, gold hardware, and a Floyd Rose tremolo.
