Dave Fitzgerald's Collection
Carvin BBS ID: Dirty Dave

Here's a nice set of 4-string Carvin basses, all of which are recent models with a nice assortment of features.  The LB70s are all from 2004 (plus the new 2005 model), and the AC40 is a 2002 model.

This is Dave's newest addition, a stunning 2005 LB70.  It has a flamed koa top, with koa body and 5-piece maple/koa neck.  Other features include an ebony fingerboard with no inlays, rounded body sides, HB2/J99 pickups, and black chrome hardware.

This is Dave's LB70 finished in black stain on quilted maple.  It has a matching headstock, with an alder body.  Other features include mother-of-pearl block inlays on an ebony fingerboard, black chrome hardware, and HB2/J99 pickups.

Next is Dave's walnut LB70.  In addition to the nicely figured walnut body, it has a 5-piece maple/walnut neck, an ebony fingerboard with no inlays, tung-oiled neck, black chrome hardware, and HB2/J99 pickups.

This is Dave's blueburst LB70.  It has an alder body and 5-pice maple & koa neck with abalone block inlays on an ebony fingerboard.  Black chrome hardware and HB2/J99 pickups round out the package.

Last is Dave's 2002 AC40, which actually used to part of the Webmaster's collection.  It's finished in blueburst on quilted maple with matching headstock, and has an ebony fingerboard and black chrome hardware.
